Hold times are long. This roller enables the dishrack to move in and out of the dishwasher. Because these rollers generally wear out at the same time, we recommend replacing them in pairs. If the door is leaking then the door seal may be defective. Corroded or rusted dishracks should be replaced to avoid parts of the rack falling down and getting into the circulation pump damaging the pump. If the dishwasher does not wash properly then the wash impeller could be worn or the motor could be defective. The water inlet valve supplies water to the dishwasher. If the water inlet valve is defective, the dishwasher may underfill or not fill at all. Over the past two years, BSH Home Appliances, which announced the recall with the Consumer Product Safety Commission, has received five reports of the power cords overheating and causing fires that resulted in property damage. BSH said that the overheating occurred when the dishwashers were in use, not when they were sitting idle. The repair should take less than an hour. You can also call the BSH recall hotline at 888-965-5813 or go to the website of the brand you own for more information. My Bosch dishwasher keeps beeping after cycle. http://flexphysicaltherapy.com/images/bosch-shx36l15uc-manual.pdf

Bosch dishwashers on the market today have an alarm sound that beeps and alerts you that the cycle is completed. The default setting on most Bosch dishwashers is set for the alarm to be as loud as possible. This beeping is to let you know the washing cycle is done. However it is usually set from the factory to the loudest setting possible. Many people have asked us how to either stop the alarm from beeping or to set it to a lower audible tone. Here is how to either turn the alarm sound off or to turn the alarm sound down. Please leave a comment below including your Bosch model number so we can assist further. It could be something simple, especially if you just installed it. Make sure the power cord is connected properly and a circuit breaker did not trip. After that, if its water line was not flushed before installation, it might have air bubbles inside that keeps the water from flowing through the hose with the right amount of pressure. Disconnect the water supply line from the dishwasher and flush 2 gallons of water through it before reinstalling the hose. If that fails, troubleshoot your Bosch dishwasher filling problem by process of elimination. Cycle Interruption A Bosch dishwasher dues not fill with water if the previous cycle was interrupted. If it was turned off for any reason and mistakenly left off, the dishwasher cannot fill with water, even though the unit comes on. Look for a kink in the water supply line. If you find one, shut off the water valve, and remove the hose and kinks. Reattach the water supply hose and turn on the valve. Hose Filter Most Bosch dishwashers contain a small filter inside the hose end to prevent sediment from your water supply getting inside the dishwasher. www.cmevalves.com/pictures/files/canon-powershot-a710s-manual.pdf

With the water supply hose disconnected, remove the filter from inside the hose, clean it thoroughly to remove any iron buildup or sediment, and replace. Reinstall the hose line and reopen the water supply valve. Water Pressure Verify you have enough water pressure to run the dishwasher. Grab a 1 gallon container and turn the faucet on to fill it. If you have enough water pressure to run the dishwasher, the container should fill up within 30 seconds. If it takes longer to fill a gallon container, you might not have enough pressure in your water delivery system to effectively use the dishwasher. Pooling Water The dishwasher does not fill for a new cycle when it has not drained from the last. If you open your dishwasher to find a pool of water inside, locate the large-object trap in the center bottom of the dishwasher. Remove the bottom tray to access the large-object trap. Turn the top of the large-object trap counterclockwise one-quarter turn and lift it out. Thoroughly clean its mesh filter. Remove any large objects such as toothpicks, bones, broken glass or food debris from the filter area. Clean the large mesh screen that surrounds the large-object trap before reinstalling everything in reverse of removal. Close the door to see if the dishwasher drains. If it does, you are free to start the next cycle. Water Inlet Valve Inside the bottom front of the dishwasher behind the kick panel, there is a water inlet valve that operates via electricity. Remove the Bosch power cord from the outlet or shut off power to the unit at the circuit breaker. Remove the kick panel by unscrewing the two screws on either side. Detach the screws that hold the front door panel in place from inside the dishwasher; pull the door panel down and set it aside. Close the door to access the water inlet valve. The water inlet valve has two wires that connect it to the circuitry of the unit. Check to ensure they are firmly attached. Also examine the valve for damage or leaks. {-Variable.fc_1_url-

I called Bosch tech support and asked about areset switch. There is none. They told me to switch off the circuit breaker for 30 MINUTES to reset everything. I did that which did not fix the problem. I then examined the connector wires (connecting the electric to my house wiring) which are in the front under the kick plate, and discovered that they had MELTED. The wiring supplied by Bosch was stranded wire, and my home wiring is solid core. That restored the electric and the lights and display. When program buttons are released, lights above them will flash.See that this moves up and down freely. Waiting for them to send it again and walk service man (again!) through it. Ooops!! they forgot to send the part and now it is over 4 weeks since problem began. Part is still under warranty but only a replacement part (not the original) is available. Do not buy the product unless you like the silence.of it not working. Please try again later. Please try again later. JMann 2.0 out of 5 stars True that Bosch is much quieter than expected.you hardly know its on. But the problems which are mentioned in other reviews need to be addressed. First, the thing stinks. The stainless steel yields a wierd industrial metal smell afer a day or two of non-use. I tried running vinegar in it, no change. It was this way the first week and its still this way. And I do rinse off food before putting dishes in. Maybe steel is not suitable. Is there reaction with other metals that are being washed. Drying of items takes longer and most plastics in the top rack, ie, kids cups, don't dry at all. This is big pain as I have to dry them by hand to put them away. If you have kids then think twice about this, its a waste of time that isn't necessary with other washers.BTW the silverware doesn't get dry either. Another annoyance: The racks seem not to hold our particular type of dishes as efficiently as I expected either. Deep bowls like cereal bowls just don't seem to have a place. So they take up a lot of room. There are a few spots where vertical pieces were left out (along the side of the top rack - must have saved a whole penny there!), and sometimes plastic sipper tops or tupperware will slide out. Sorry Bosch, but that's the way this machine (SHE45MO6UC) is working out for me. I don't think I'd recommend it.Please try again later. Please try again later. K. Wolcott 1.0 out of 5 stars Wrong! I agree with other reviewers about the constant odor unless you remove the filter frequently and clean it. Also, items in the top rack are never completely dry. There is always water and sediment left, even though I rinse all of my dishes before placing them in the dishwasher (which I should not have to do). However, the biggest problem is with the bendable plate and cup holders that create the rows in the top and bottom rack to hold your dishes in place. The little plastic parts that attach the flexible plate and cup holders to the top and bottom sliding racks constantly crack, snap and break!!!! When the plastic parts fail, you cannot use the plate and cup holders as they are no longer attached to the dishwasher racks. You just have the flat rack with no upright sections to hold your dishes. The little replacement parts are expensive as you need several sets to re-attach the flexible cup and plate holders to the racks. Half of the top rack and half of the bottom rack have these flexible holders and every one of them has broken. This is not due to excessive use either as this is a one person household. Also, the exterior panel where you select wash cycle is VERY sensitive. If you lean against the dishwasher while working at the kitchen counter, the dishwasher will turn on. This is just a very bad design and I speak from 3 years of aggravation and costly part replacements. I would swap this Bosch for a good old Maytag, Kenmore or GE model in a heartbeat! Please try again later. Please try again later. My old Kitchen Aid could handle three times more dishes than the Bosch, due to the poor stacking design. Also, the filter has to be taken apart frequently in order to clean out the debris or you have the odor of rotting food. The instruction manual does not mention how to take the filter apart - learned how to do this on a You Tube video. Frequent cleaning of the filter gets rid of the stink. Another design flaw. How could Consumer Reports recommend this dishwasher????? Would not recommend this dishwasher. It is quiet, but if I had it to do over again, would buy a Kitchen Aid.Please try again later. Please try again later. Vicky 1.0 out of 5 stars It has been awful from the start. The trays are poorly designed and don't fit most current bowls, glassware etc. Thus bowls chip constantly from movement. It has an unusual metallic smell after cleaning. It cleans very unevenly. It leaves a film on glassware. It dries so poorly that I have to hand dry every item. Water puddles at the bottom. I have had it serviced twice, used the recommended detergents, cleaned it with vinegar etc. I would NOT purchase this. My prior Bosch was also poorly performing. In contrast, my inexpensive Kitchenaid at our Lake house works like a charm and it's 15 years old. Please try again later. Please try again later. Becky 1.0 out of 5 stars Unfortunately it doesn't work very well. I used to rinse but not wash my dishes first, now I have to. If there are small bits of food that are still on the dishes those tiny bits plug up the little holes in the water spray arm.
